Ford was unable to achieve anything with either of them, and then she decided to leave the music scene for a decade. The hit album Lita which came out in 1989, served as the trigger for her return. Both the song "Kiss My Deadly" as well as the ballad "Close My Eyes Forever" became huge hits. She stayed out of the music industry for a few years after her short-lived commercial success. Her "Black" album debuted in 1995. Her 'Wicked Wonderland" release almost 15 years after. Her latest album, Time Capsule was released in the year 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
