Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American singer-songwriter and model. She is known as "Blair Waldorf" in the drama TV series called "Gossip Girl". The career of Leighton Meester began when she was young girl. When she was a kid she was a part of the local stage production of 'Wizard of Oz,' after which her passion for acting was heightened. Her first jobs were modeling and appearing in commercials. As a model she worked with large brands such as "Herbal Essences," "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Although she started her profession as an actress she was a model first. Her acting debut came with the series 'Law & Order', and picked as cameo characters in television features and shows like "Country Strong," "Monte Carlo' and the 'Killer Movie.'
